Ok I made an initial post stating a few errors with the truck that I noticed shortly after buying and ive come to terms with those errors.
The initial errors was the amp research running boards aren't working. Solution was to buy a new obd2 modual and install, currently waiting for it to come in. *Update* new module and manual override button came in yesterday and will be installing this weekend to get my running boards working again.
Tailgate double tap from keyfob doesnt work, truck registers that im puahing the button but doesnt release. I have forscan but cant find my plug for it and my topdon obd2 scanner doesnt see any errors with the system for the tailgate. Im not sure where the quickrelease button is on my tailgate as people have pointed out to try pushing but I dont seem to have that button, just the normal pull up latch for release of the tailgate. So still no fix for this. *Update* I apparently have the wrong tailgate on the truck to utilize the double tap keyfob tailgate release so that fixes this issue.
A few days after my initial post I noticed now the truck doesn't notice a trailer being plugged in anymore at all with any of the 3 trailers I have, the truck doesnt detect them when they're plugged in and I press on the brake. Was working just fine for the first 2 weeks I bought the truck.
At the same time I noticed the auto start stop feature doesnt work like it did. It stopped functioning about the same time as the no trailer detection. Am I worried about this feature absolutely not I would have turned it off with forscan anyways lol.
Now the most recent problems was just tonight. I left my house to head to work. It's snowing outside pretty good but no issues in my 15 minute drive to work but instantly once I pulled into the parking lot my airbag light came on, traction control fault appeared, cross traffic fault appeared, blind spot monitoring fault appeared, hvac completely non responsive (both seat and vehicle), radio buttons don't work on the panel anymore but on the wheel they do, front windows dont work anymore, and the truck doesnt detect my key inside the truck anymore, had to put it in the slot in the cup holder for it to see the keyfob again and the truck would start up again.
What the **** is going on with this thing!!!! I never had any issues outta my other 2018 f150 but sadly that truck was totaled from being tboned in the passenger side of the truck. But damn winter just hit us where I live in Ohio and now I have no hvac this is going to suck until I figure out what's going on and I really need some help on this!!!

Sounds like you need to replace the battery, or at least have it checked. The behavior you described is typical when the battery is failing. Not sure it is the cause of all of your symptoms, but I'd start there.
Lariat trim and above has an electronic release tailgate. Trims below Lariat have a electric locking/unlocking manual release tailgate. Sounds like the previous owner changed out the original electronic release tailgate for a manual version. Your fob doesn't work because you have the wrong tailgate.
Here is what your tailgate handle should look like, not the one you have. The internal release mechanism is completely different and I've never heard of anyone converting a tailgate from one release type to the other witthout changing out the entire tailgate.

I just had the truck fully inspected and they did a load test on the battery and quality of life check on the battery and the batteries health report came back at 93% meaning the battery is in good condition and is a healthy battery. Plus the sticker on the battery says its only a year old so i doubt it's a battery issue as ive had the truck for about a month and had no issues prior.

ah ok then yeah that would make 100% sense why the button on the fob doesnt do anything. Yeah my tailgate doesnt look like the picture you supplied. Well thats one issue resolved
The tailgate i have is the wrong tailgate to be able to use the fob release.
I will be installing the amp research running board module and button later this week and hopefully get them working again.
I was able to do a little snooping around inside the trucks computer with my obd2 scanner and came to find out that there was a short inside my driver side tail lights bliss module sensor that was causing my hvac, radio, and window controls to not work at all and throw and airbag warning icon. Upon further checking this out found out that the tail light housing has somehow gotten a huge crack in it allowing water to get into the house and managing to get inside the plug adapter for the bliss sensor causing a short. Will be fixing this, this weekend also by cleaning both connector points and applying a good amount of die electric grease inside the connectors to keep water from getting back into the connector. Hopefully the module is ok. But for right now I have removed the module out of the tail light for right now to stop the electrical short.
still having a problem with the truck not detecting my trailer being plugged into it. Ive tried all 3 of my trailers and the truck doesn't see or detect any of them.
I'd check for power to the trailer control module. It's located Upper left near the obd2 connection. Mabye a blown fuse. The other connection is the large cable at the battery. Powers battery monitor module. Both related to auto start stop as well.
good luck
I have found that spraying electrical contact cleaner into the trailer connection on the bumper has improved the chances that the truck will detect the trailer when I plug it in. Its a common problem.

I've already tried cleaning the pins and using spray contact cleaner and then adding so die electric grease on it and still nothing.

Ok I'll have to check that area out as well then. I mean I could care less if the auto start stop ever works again as i hate it so much lol I'll still disable it when i find my plug for my laptop to use forscan to turn it off. But thanks I'll check those spots in the morning
