Default 2018 flood project

Picked up a 2018 3.5 eco from copart with flooded engine (I know, I know..) I've swapped engine, trans, bcm and under hood fuse box from donor 2020. I bought a used ecu from ebay. The truck has some power, odometer, radio, locks, lights but when I turn the key nothing happens. I know the truck won't start until I get key programed to new ecu and bcm, but shouldnt the dash light up when i turn the key on? I tried hooking up forscan but it wont connect cause its acting like it cant connect. Tia

Best of luck with the project. If the engine was water damaged, it`s a good bet that almost every other part of the electrical system maybe excepting the dome light has damage. Just curious, what made you want a flood damaged vehicle?

PS: With a join date of 2013 with only one post, that has to be some kind of record. Right?

I guess I'm gluten for punishment. The water damage didn't seem that bad inside. The carpet was wet but didn't seem like seats got wet.
as far as posting goes long time listener first time caller!
