I'll be doing some traveling in a couple weeks, one area that is real common for pickups to be stolen. Looking for skme ideas to help prevent this.
I've already thought of splicing into the fuel pump relay harness, wherever that is, haven't found it yet. Not sure what part of the harness it's in in the cab area or what color it is. Cutting a couple pins on a starter relay, installing a blown fuse in the fuel pump location or just remove it, Buy a brake pedal brace/bracket with a lock. Or put some silicone on the obd connector. Wish I wouldn't have to do that one if I could find some kind of lock to go around the obd. Anyone find anything like that?
Any help would be appreciated..

Had the same concern traveling down the Baja coast in Mexico.
I put a massive rubber coated motorcycle chain through my steering wheel and locked it to the brake pedal with a bright yellow padlock used on forest service gates. Got the pad lock from my local lock smith. I think it's Kasp brand?
It's about 3 lbs of case hardened steel with pick proof magnetic key. Won't stop a tow truck of course but keeps the window peekers and amateur car thieves at bay. Also kept a spare key to the truck and padlock hidden in a secret ninja spot under the truck.
I always leave our glove box and console wide open with nothing in them when we need to leave the truck unattended in unfamiliar territory. Cuts the temptation to smash your windows out down.
