What may look like an easy swap on the surface is likely an impossibility once you strip the truck of all those parts. The headlight assemblies extend much further towards the center of the truck and likely will not fit in the space occupied by the headlight assembly and headlight trim panel on our trucks. The bumper likely has different mounting points and so would the grille and filler panel between the two. Having the same hood and fenders is quite possibly the only things our trucks and the '18s have in common, so that "retrofit" would likely require extensive modifications.

looks like a couple of forum members have done it... 100% fitment with hood and fenders even shudder assembly. Appears you just need grille, headlamps, front bumper and you're done outside of the wiring design if you go the LED route. If I do the mod I may go aftermarket bumper route to save some money and keep my custom look.
