Is the 2018 5.0 both port and direct injection like the rest of the 2018 engines?

Hmmm - I don't know about the power statement above. It might, but with DI - you can inject the optimum amout of fuel at any given time.

I *think* the combo has more to do with passing the fuel (detergent) over the valves to avoid build up. True DI only engines require valve cleaning maintenance.
