I have a pinging sound while accelerating from a stop. The sound can sometimes be one short ping or can be two to three pings but does not last long. When I use premium fuel it decreases the pinging by 50-75%. I used Lucas Oil Fuel Injector Cleaner and it helped a bit, but is still present. I have seen a free threads and read the manual stating you can use 87 octane but 91 is preferred. Any suggestions because I still have some pinging at 93.
