2018 2.7 CEL Code P144c
Hi there
2018 2.7L F150 XLT with 20k miles on it. CEL came on last Friday throwing code P144C. “EVAP SYSTEM PURGE FLOW PERFORMANCE DURING BOOST”
Took it to the dealer and they suggested reprogramming the PCM per the TSB for the 3.5L. (Mine was made at the KC plant during the time periods for the TSB).
That worked for about 100 miles but now CEL is on again with same code. Taking it into the dealer tomorrow to get it fixed but wondered if anyone else had similar and if you could give me and the mechanics a heads up on the fix? I’m pretty sure the purge issue could be any number of things, but worth a shot to see if anyone else had the same thing happen.
