Hello All, New member here and I need some help please! I swapped my manual fold mirrors for non trailer tow power fold mirrors per attached instructions (word for word) using parts below. I have updated all the programming with Forscan in the new modules and everything is functioning except I am having problems with the new door/window switch (FL3Z-14529-CB). When I have the new switch plugged in, the front two windows will not go down and the power fold button and power mirror glass adjustment does not work. If I plug in the old switch then all the buttons work however I now do not have a power fold button to fold the mirrors when the vehicle is on. At this point I have auto fold turned on so the mirrors fold when I lock with the key fob. That doesn't help so much when I want to fold mirrors going into a garage. Anyone else have this problem or heard of it. Is the new switch bad out of the box? Sorry if this has been posted before but I could not find an answer reading through the existing mirror conversion threads.

Update in case anyone ever has the same issue. I have a co-worker with the same switch in his truck and I did a swap and his switch worked. My new switch did not work in his truck. It appears the switch is defective out of the box. I sent it back to the dealer for a replacement. I will update when I get the replacement switch.

 

Got the replacement switch from the dealer and everything works. It is confirmed, I had a defective switch.

 

If you don't mind me asking, what mirror P/N did you end up going with? Thanks!
