Default 2017 value

What would be a fair value of a 2017 slandered cap long bed 2wd 3.9 flex fuel with 250,000 highway miles in Tampa Florida. Never been out of state so no rust? Steel wheels.

Slandered cap with a 3.9 is beyond rare, probably worth millions to a Ford museum. Lol, sorry, I couldn't resist.

Checking the local auto traders for comparables would be your best bet. I am assuming it is a base XL with the 3.5. With that many miles I wouldn't think it would be worth a whole lot. Just for fun I checked what it would be worth here. With exchange you might get around $5,100 USD.

250,000 miles on a 2017, makes my back hurt just thinking about it.

KBB and Edmund's provide good comparative data. Those miles will give it a huge hit.

KBB says 5000- 8000 trade in and 7000-10000 privet sale. The truck looks almost new in excellent shape. it ran a 700 mil round trip 2 to 3 times a month. and has service records and was well maintained. My main question is how durable is the 3.5 NA engine? I have a 99 f150 4.2 with that many miles that runs grate and expect to get at least another 100.000 out of it

Is the 2017 worth considering. I drive 35 mils round trip 5 days a weak

Well, the OP say he's got 250,000 miles on one...

I know that taking care of a 3.5 can get you to 300,000 miles. Beyond that, not enough people putting that many miles on a single vehicle that participate in auto forums.

Seems like a solid motor with that many miles on it.My fil has had 3 of the old style rangers with the 4 cylinder in them And got over 300,000 on them with original motors.I would have to say that 3.5 is good.
