Default 2017 staring issue

Hey guys hoping you can help. Just bought a used 2017 XLT 43000k 3 days ago and now having some issues with starting the vehicle in the morning. The first 2 two days the electric start wouldn’t work and my key would not turn over, however the lights and touch screen were working. After about five minutes the car starts and everything is fine the rest of the day. After the second day I took it to the dealership and they gave me a brand new battery. This morning the same thing happened with the brand new battery. I do live in Michigan and it has been cold in the morning but my car should still at least start right? Any suggestions on what might be the cause ? Luckily I have the warranty. Thanks guys

This is very interesting and waiting to hear an answer as well.. I just bought a 2015 XLT 2.7 Eco with 66000 and I am having the exact same problem. New battery yesterday and wouldn't start this morning. Also, it began running rough at low idle and engine light came on after we picked it up from dealer after they put the new battery in.

Did you get your problem resolved? Ended up with a new battery, 2 starters, new plugs and fuel injector. When my issues started, my remote start seldom worked and the auto start/stop did not work. With the new starter, both work fine now. The first starter they put in was defective and replaced again, hopefully this one will last awhile.

Sounds like the starter. Mine went through a period of starting, nonstart, starting, etc. First crank almost nothing, second crank perfect.

Need to do voltage drop tests under load to verify it's the starter.
