2017 F-150 Platnum/Roush 4x4 with 5.0 V8. Only 26k miles.
Two months ago my truck started having intermittent issues starting.
-It cranks, but won't turn over. Sometimes I have to try 3-4x before it turns over.
-Then I can go 3-4 days before it does it again.
-Every so often, it will take 10x+ times and the engine times out...over cranking....and I wait 10 mins and then try again.
-4 weeks ago, the tailgate started releasing when I grabbed the driver door handle.
-I took it to the ford dealership twice. They know there is an electrical issue but can't pinpoint it. They reset the faults but it hasn't fixed anything. The last time the tech had it for 5 days and still couldn't diagnose.
-battery was fine but I replaced it anyways.
-I've tried leaving the battery unconnected overnight to "reset" and that hasn't worked.
-It seems to act up more after a rain. Maybe a loose connection is getting moisture and causing the demonic episodes?
Looking for any advise or experience with the issue.
