Leather is a option from roush. I would recommend going to the roush site and building the truck you are looking at.

For that price you could get a entry level raptor before long. I wouldn't pay that for a 302a xlt either.

No way I would pay that. $15,000 for a lift, wheels, tires, exhaust and some cosmetic stuff? I could do a lot more with 15 grand. Also, it is a 3.31 and a 5.0 sitting on 35s, it is going to be a dog

I'd prefer this roush beauty, Powered by methane!

Same as others, a Roush is nice but expensive but the pkg without the SC is a serious up charge

I agree with scrappy, this truck has no supercharger, leather, led lights and more
If your looking to spend that kind of money u could get a higher package or spend a little more and get a raptor.
But if your set on a roush pull the trigger
I actually had a similar experience in 2012 when I was truck shopping. Before switching to Ford, I was an avid Dodge driver. I went to my dealer and was looking at a 2012 Ram 2500 Cummins. They asked me if I wanted to start on the paperwork, but I still wasn't sold on a heavy duty. So they let me take it home for the night, play with it, and bring it back the next day. Ended up going with a 1500 instead, but it was still a cool experience getting to "test it at home".

Really? Did you just ask that? No, it's a terrible investment. My grandfather used to say a fool and his money are soon parted.

Looks nice, but is sure missing a bunch of the high end options and creature comforts. LED lights are really good. Leather is a deal breaker for me personally, and cooled seats are amazing (but, cloth doesn't run as hot in the summer). It is a spruced up XLT, and I agree it looks nice, but you can make any truck look good with flares, lift, wheels, and some decals. Roush I thought was always a power based package, so in this case its just appearance?

OP if you haven't shopped/test driven some of the 2015+ higher trims (Lariat, KR, Platinum, Limited) I feel it would be worth your time even if it just confirms your decision on the Roush truck. Ford has added some awesome features that even your 2014 Platinum might not have. I am a huge fan on the intelligent access with push button start, dual panel moonroof, etc.

As others have mentioned if you are truly in love with the Roush truck then go get it, but $55.5k is more than enough money to get you into a truck with more options than the XLT. Either way I hope you get what you want because that is what will make you happy.
