My 2016 Supercrew has 20's, my wife's 2017 Supercab has 17's. The 17's ride better, and accelerate better. I didn't really want 20's, but the truck was equipped the way I wanted, other than that. I also looked up the tire size and replacements were reasonable. Both of these trucks are WAY better with noise, than my wife's 2013.

I just traded in my Jeep JK for a 2017. Coming from a Jeep, even with hardtop, I guess I don't notice any of these issues. Wheel hop and road noise??? LOL I feel like I'm driving a luxury car now. Maybe if I came from a different vehicle I'd be more intolerant and notice more of these things.

Now my 2007 F150??? That thing felt like it would fly off the road if I hit a pebble. And the road noise was beyond annoying.

OP, sounds like you got one with production q/c issues. My '16 Screw Lariat 4x4 is the best riding, quietest 1/2 truck I've ever driven. It's all stock for now, other than removing running boards and air dam.

Happy with the performance of the shocks, especially over sharp edged bumps...like railroad tracks.

Install seems simple enough, but its not. Let me explain. The mount holes on the shock bodies are not the same size as OEM. If you re-use the OEM bolts, you will end up with a strange vibration. Anyhow, I ended up drilling out the truck mounts to exactly 1/2 inch and getting some 3 inch long, 1/2 inch bolts and the necessary fasteners.

Just keep that in mind...ride is great though. Much more "planted" feel and waaay smoother over bumps.
