Default 2017 leather steering wheel in XLT?

Swing by my dealer today to test drive a 17 mustang. Long story short sat in a 17 XLT and it had a really nice leather steering wheel. Are these the basic wheels now or is there some hidden option for leather steering wheels? It felt really nice.

Also, semi related. They had a 16 Limited with a 6" lift on 35s with 15k miles for only 55k. Not bad and really clean. Too bad I'm not looking for another truck.

the 17 XLT wheel should be the same as your 16.

I think they switched leather type or something because the wheel on my 2017 XLT is much nicer than the one I had on my 2015 Lariat. It's much softer and grips much better! (IMO)

i know they changed the wheel on the Platinums to the softer leather like the Limited and KR have, but the 17 Lariat 502 i looked at a while back the wheel material felt the same as my 16 501.

100% isn't. Kind of wondering if they switched the steering wheel out. Nothing was noted on the custom paperwork

I ordered this one HL3Z-3600-DB which was from a 2017 XLT. The leather seemed to feel better then the one I checked out in a 2015 lariat. The price was about the same as what people are selling their used fake leather ones for too. One of the best purchases I have made for my truck

Thank you for the part number. Looks like I'll be ordering it.
