2017 Lariat factory door code
I searched and searched for this info and couldn’t seem to find it all in one place so I thought I would post here. In my 2015 lariat the hide a key spot was in front of the console mount shifter under the mat by the usbs. That location appears to have changed for 2017 and up and it is now under the mat in the front most cup holder. I bought my truck from a Chevy dealership and the original owner did not leave the owner card with the factory door code in it. Once I found the new spot I had to slide the intellikey into the slot with the buttons facing the front of the truck and then doing the same routine as usual by pushing the start button counting to five seconds turning the start button off removing the first key entering the second key within 3 seconds and hitting the start button again to get the factory key code screen to pop up after another 5 seconds. Just thought I would mention that to the 2017 2018 owners because while the location of this is in the manual it does not tell you the buttons need to be facing the front of the truck or the process to get the factory code to show on the screen.

Can confirm this is the correct method in my 2017 Lariat with Intelligent Access keys, and with the key spot in under the first cup holder.
I rewrote the instructions as I did it so that it's clearer and easier to follow.
1) Close door
2) Insert intelligent access key #1 top down with buttons facing towards the radio into the key slot underneath the first cup holder.
3) Hit start button once
4) Count to 5 seconds
5) Hit start button
6) Take out key #1 and insert key #2
7) Hit start button
8) Factory Code should be displayed in between the tach & speedo after 5 seconds.
9) Take picture of the code and write it down.
