Does your state have Lemon Laws? 4 trips to the dealer to fix the same problem might give you some additional legal leverage. It seems that the state has put in laws to protect the wrong entity, though there might well be good reason for those laws.

unfortunately here in New York, the lemon law covers the truck for the first 18,000 miles or 12 months- which ever comes first. since I'm over the mileage, i have no lemon law protection.

as long as the first repair was done in the first 18k and 12 months you will be covered. my trucks going back for another pan replacement Monday. I have 36,700 miles my 2017. these trucks are great but the oil pans are an issue.

Good luck, FYI: the main seal replacement seems to have solved the issue.

Default 2015 f150

I started buying Ford only vehicles when they were the only company that didn't take bailout money. I drive a 2015 Ford Lariat SuperCrew and have exactly the same problem. I don't drive it that often so it only has 15 thousand miles on it. First oil check at 3500 miles and it was leaking. Ford needs to address this issue with some serious resolve. Plastic oil pan and plug just isn't cutting it.

I just encountered the same issue today, took it in for the first oil change at 10,000 miles and the tech discovered it. Do you know if the steel pan will fix the issue, and do I need to request a steel pan before my scheduled appointment?

i don't believe a steel pan is currently an option.

A steel pan wasn't an option the last 2 replacement pans I received.

I too have a 2017 SCREW, 3.5 ecoboost with 5600 miles. Noticed oil leaking on my driveway pavers (that's another issue) so I brought it in for service April 10th. Said the technician couldn't exactly pinpoint the leak, but tightened the oil pan, and put dye in the oil. Brought it back May1, still leaking, so the pan was replaced. I hope this is not going to be a regular thing. Service person said they changed the oil and filter and I should pick it up today. They wanted to keep it to make sure the silicon was applied properly and no leaks. I hope they don't think I am paying for the oil change and filter! Love the truck and it tows my trailer great, but....

I had to have my pan replaced twice. Apparently the first time they didn’t prep it properly ( they have to order in a special instalment kit. Second time they used the kit. Just had my 3rd oil change and no leaks
