Default 2017 Driver Window Issue

Hi all, have been using forum for a while finally made an account. Good info on here.

I have been having an issue with the front window, will not open(go down) all the way. When using auto close to go up it will max out and safety back down like a bump open. Its not as easy as a button reset as it seems to be a physical issue. Im assuming it has come off the tracking in the door or a holding clip of some sort has broke. Anybody else experience this? Thanks!

Never had this problem but I just saw another post w/ this same issue. https://www.f150forum.com/f118/door-...issues-457714/
Check if your door keypad is working and if it isn't you might have the same problem as this person did.

Default Resetting window motor!

Figured it out. Tore the door apart, everything was tight inside, even tore apart the switches. Found something online about resetting the motor, which ford said could only be done at the dealer.. While the window is in operation you can pull the fuse for the front window motors, 30A under the glove box(refer to manual) and the window will stop. Window MUST be going up or down while fuse is pulled. Put the fuse back and retrain motor. Open window fully and continue holding switch open for two seconds. Close window fully and hold switch closed for two seconds, after this it can be used normally again. Very simple fix with no new parts required. Since i couldn't reach the fuse i tied some fishing line around it and pulled it out from the drivers seat, otherwise you'll need a hand. Hope this helps someone!
