I just bought a 2017 F150 4x4 with the naturally aspirated 3.5l in it. I drove it home and noticed it would surge when trying to maintain speed. I drove it a ways to work with cruise set and it was worse. On the way home I used my FIXD and watched the engine load which hits 99% when the issue occurs. Any idea what this could be? It’s currently at the dealership waiting a week for a cam phaser but I have never had this issue with a cam phaser.
