Default 2017 3.5 Engine Light Evap

I have a 2017 3.5 that has an engine light that came on. Took it to the garage and said it was and evap code and they put a part on it- light came back on. I have had it back four times now and they are telling me it needs a part that the catalog is not showing. Anyone else have this code or problem??

Take it to an actual Ford dealer. It should still be under emissions warranty.

And, you didn't even give a code, how could you expect anyone to reply if they've had the same code? There are a couple of dozen evap codes.

If you took to a dealer, specify that it was a dealer. A "garage" could be anything (and usually is).

Invalid DTC, as noted.

Take it back, it's still under warranty. Call the regional Ford service office, if you have to,

Its more likely a P0455 code, which is large evap leak. Its more than likely the Purge solenoid is partially or intermittently sticking. Common. Luckily its easy to replace and inexpensive, I think about 90 ish for a motorcraft.

Yes found paperwork on original visit- P0455 and it is till under warranty only 29,000 miles- And they replaced purge solenoid still has light. They are telling me it needs some kind of pipe and it is not showing it for my truck.
