it's not an exhaust note, IIRC that's the 'pumped in' artificial sound

My turbos are quite loud. Not diesel loud but very noticeable. Especially when you have a load on it, slowly lay into the throttle and the turbos really hiss.

can't hear mine over the air conditioning.

My last turbo car was a 500whp mazdaspeed3 with a larger precision ball bearing turbo......now THAT you could hear the turbo...:thumbup:
