2017 10-Speed Transmission Noise Poll
I'm trying to collect information on this transmission noise some 2017 3.5EB owners are experiencing, and am curious if Ford actually implemented a fix regarding this issue sometime during the 2017 model year, or if it was fixed only for 2018.
The noise is best described as a grinding or chattering noise coming from the transmission shortly after startup, which then goes away after a short time. There may also be a whining noise present.
If you could please, answer the poll based on your build date and feel free to leave any comments. I wanted to have an option for "No", but I'm only allowed 12 poll options. If you have a 10-Speed with no noise, feel free to post it below along with your build date.
If you need to find your build date, you can go to this link and put in your VIN: Ford ETIS Keep in mind that ETIS lists your build date in a Day-Month-Year format.
Also, the build date is located on a sticker inside your driver's side door frame as noted below by haus_F-150.
Another way to estimate your build date is to take a look at your window sticker and there is a Six digit date code at the end of the very bottom gray box in the center. Your build date is normally several days to a week after that print date. If you dont have your window sticker and want one in electronic format, you can use this link (just delete the VIN from the very end of the link and put yours in): http://www.windowsticker.forddirect....EW1EG6HKE48341
As in example, the window sticker above shows a print date of August 2, 2017, keeping in mind that it uses a Month-Day-Year format.
Thanks in advance for your input!

10/2016 build here. I have the startup rattle and the whine sound.
Here is my video:
It happens on cold and warm startups. Ford currently telling me there isn't a solution yet and I am expecting to get an offer for extended warranty due to the issue and having to drive a new truck that sounds junky.
