I've got a 2016 f150 4x4 with the 5.0. I recently acquired a travel trailer with electric brakes so I wanted to install the oem brake controller. I have the factory 7 pin connector and hitch. I also checked behind small cubby and I do have the plug there. Called one dealer for price of controller and they gave me part # GL3Z2C006CB, another dealer told me I needed part # FL3Z19H332A, and yet a 3rd dealer told me I couldn't add the oem controller to my truck. I've been researching for days with no luck. Looking for which part I actually need from someone who has done it to their 2016.

I put the GL3Z2C006CB on my father-in-laws truck and enabled with forscan

 

My dealer installed an OEM controller for $214 parts and labor.

not sure if this is the newest version, just one I had bookmarked from another thread on here.

 

I thought the F at the beginning of the part number meant 2015 and G meant 2016.
Still having trouble ordering. Tasca website says the FL3***part is discontinued. Tried the other part number and it says to call for availability.
Other place I tried to order from said the GL3*** is discontinued.

 

yes and J would mean '18. If you look in the eBay description it says it replaces the F part number
