Default 2016 shudder

Hey guys. Yet another concern I have on my 4 week old screw eb. With only 1000 miles on my new truck I have to get ring and pinion replaced already and now another issue..... This weekend my wife and I were driving in pigeon forge on some small winding roads and when I would slow down below 30 mph and barely press the accelerator around turns the engine/ tranny would "lug" and make the truck shutter like the tranny needed to gear down. I could put the truck in sport mode and no issues. Anyone else experience this? If I mashed the pedal more aggressively it geared down ok. Mostly around uphill turns at slow speeds am having this happen

I have this happen on my '16 Eco in 4th gear, when under about 1500rpm. If I try to hit the accelerator then it shudders. Feels identical to my old Acura that had a torque converter recall...

That's kinda what I was thinking it felt like the torque converter. To me the transmission seems to be in too high of a gear for the speed sometimes. Sport mode it never happens. I had a 13 eb and the transmission was more responsive. It's like they made the shift points farther apart.sometimes when you just want to Cruze at slow speeds normal mode isn't enough and sport mode is a little too aggressive ugghhh

It goes away in sport mode for me as well, but I get more significant gas pedal vibration when in sport, so I can't win!

I have the gas pedal vibration also.......... I doesn't bother me too bad knowing it is electronic so no linkage or anything. I haven't really worried about it as it seems like almost all of ours do that.

Back to the shudder. I really want to find out what this is. I hope it's not yet another problem. If it's something major and I'm getting it fixed, selling it, and buying a bicycle. 😁

I'm dropping it off sat to get the ring and pinion replaced. I'll ask the techs to ride with me. Anyone else experiencing this issue?
