Default 2016 Roush Mud Flaps?

Hi guys! I am a new 2016 Roush F-150 Platinum SCrew Owner and just recently joined the forums. I came from a BMW 1M Coupe so joining these forums has been very helpful. I've been reviewing many threads here and appreciate your interactions as they have already helped me identify and conduct modifications to my new beast. Most notably MX4, Bed/Tailgate Rug, ForScan programming, stubby antenna, etc.

I'm now trying to identify which mud flaps to go with. I have it narrowed down to the Razorbacks or WeatherTech(no drill) but based on the size of the Roush Fender Flares I'm concerned that if I don't find someone who has already travelled this road I will be taking a chance which may result in time lost due to returns.

- WeatherTech - Does anyone with Roush flares have these? How do they fit? Any pics or thoughts compared to Razorbacks?

- Razorbacks - Seem more customizable and should work but more than 3x the WeatherTech cost due to custom mounting kits. Anyone have these on a Roush? Any Pics? Thoughts compared to WeatherTech?

Seems I have asked a tough question... I know I've had a hard time finding many Roush F150 owners on the forums but it appears even harder to find anyone who has deployed mud flaps on a Roush? Is there noone out there?

Are the flares on the Roush similar to the Raptor? You might want to take a peek over on the Raptor section to see what they are doing over there.

They are similar but not exact. The similarity and looking at a thread on another forum had pics of deploying gatorbacks which is why I am considering them. That being said those are $300 dollars if you get the no drill mounts. I may end up removing flare screws in wheel well and punching custom holes through gators if that will work. That would make the gators reasonable at around $120 for the set.

Thanks for the response

I have Gatorbacks on the rear. Had to modify the holes in the flaps so they would line up with the outside of the fender flares. Still trying to get them to fit the fronts but I do not believe I will be successful there. Might have to fabricate different mounting plates for the fronts.

Welcome..
But you got rid of a 1m?? Those things sell like crazy and they are rare to see up for sale, many times much more expensive than when new... sorry to hear you let it go but the truck sounds nice too. I have an e90 and always look for my dream M3 ha.

I ultimately decided to hold off on flaps. @thunder Yeah the 1M was great. I bought it brand new after calling more than half the BMW dealers in US. My taxes on it went up every year...since it increased in value every year. I ultimately drove it for 6 years for free based on what I got out of it. It was a phenomenal car but I was ready to get more versatility but I still had to have performance which is why I bought the Roush.

Bump. Looking for mudflaps for my 2019 Roush. The Raptor I traded in was covered in rock chips.
