And here in PA we get a hell of a lot of salt on the roads and it kills trucks. What happens when one of these lift parts goes. Am I going to be able to buy replacement parts. Please don't think I am ignorant. I just never owned a lifted truck. I have a 96 Mustang with a stroked carbed 351w. I'm a Mustang guy wanting to have a nice truck. Which leads me to another question. Potentially going to be pulling that Stang around. How does a lift effect towing.
Ride is great. I did fox 2.0 shocks in the back and they were a bit stiff in the beginning but I pulled a 7000 lb trailer around for a weekend and now it rides great. If you're worried about parts breaking i recommend you go BDS they have a "no bull****" return policy on products. This means if anything breaks they replace it. Good to find a good installer is well that sells BDS and backs them up. Pricing is different depending on who installs it. Go to the BDS website and those prices are what I got from the installer. $900 labor, plus lift plus tires.

I've said it a bunch of times....4 inches is the perfect amount of lift. Gorgeous truck especially with the stock wheels.

Would you mind taking a measurement from the ground to one of your town hooks?

Looks great!

By chance do you have any pictures straight on from front or back? Looking at tires and would like to see how the 275s look with the lift.

Agreed. Not only does it look great cosmetically, but it gives you all the clearance you need for virtually any wheel and tire combination you could use on a street legal truck. Additionally, a 4" lift is going to give you lift without making it impossible to park the truck in a garage, go through some drive throughs or enter parking structures.

Truck looks great. I just ordered a BDS 4 inch with new wheels and tires. Hopefully it turns out as nice.

Just got mine done Friday. Loving the factory look and newfound ground clearance! Went to the dunes in Utah over the weekend and tested her in the sand w/2 dirt bikes and a lot of gear onboard. Happy to report, this is a fine off-road set-up :-) 4" BDS non-coilover lift w/Fox 2.0 rear shocks. Rides a little stiffer than stock but that's likely due to the 285/65/20 BFG KO2's. Besides, it's a truck, not a Lincoln! :-)

Many thanks to the OP for helping me narrow it down to this setup!

What do y'all think?

I like it! Both trucks are sweet. The 4" withas stock wheels will be the way I go.

Nice, do you still have a slight rake or is it more level?
