I am about to order a 2016 Lariat 4x4 and am going back and forth on whether or not to get navigation. Anyone that has it, how do you like it? Do you think it is worth the cost with today's smart phones having navigation?

 

I have it on my 2016 GT. I think it's nice and it does work very well in my opinion. This is the first time I have had navigation and I've only had the Mustang for about a month so only time will tell. So far I like it a lot. There are some cool features with it when you use the Sync services such as gas station location and weather map. Also, Sync 3, in my opinion is light years ahead of My Ford Touch.

 

I bought my 2016 Mustang GT as well with SYNC 3, but opted out of Nav. I heard rumors about carplay but those seem to not be coming to fruition. But, I rarely use navigation since I don't travel many places I don't know where I am going. When I do, the phone works fine.

 

I still feel that Google Navigation is the best. It's way more intuitive then sync's Navigation. I don't feel its worth the extra money. Android auto, apple car play is where its at now. You could always mirror your phone to your display with that add on, can't remember the name of it tho.
