I have a brand new 2016 5.0 FX4. When I drive it in Sport mode it down shifts like I'm down shifting manually. Is that the way it's suppose to act? I don't remember other trucks doing that. When I drive it in regular mode, sometimes the drive train feels clunky or it has a slight jerk to it. I love my truck, I'm just concerned a little with those issues. Any thoughts?

 

Yes. That's part of sport mode. It uses downshifting and engine compression braking.
