Exclamation 2016 Fx4

I have a 2016 F-150 Fx4, While driving on several occasions the transmission will jolt and it loses power. As this happens the gear display ie Park,Reverse,Neutral,Drive on the display starts flashing or goes blank and the truck loses power. My guess is electrical. Please help don't have much money and it's not under warranty

I have 2016 fx4 5.0 just went through this. Molded lead frame is bad. They are on a national back order.

Mine started like yours then got worse. Would shut itself off. And not restart. Then down shift on its own. Then check engine light. Had it scaned. Trans range sensor bad.

If you get the wrench light or check engine light have it scaned. And look up the codes. I bet either trans range sensor or speed sensor. Both are built into the lead frame. Which is on back order. There are remanufactured ones available. And aftermarket available. But alot of those have realy bad reviews. From Didnt work out of box to only worked for a week and so on. Took my brother a mechanic 2 weeks to find me an oem one. And I had to pay 60.00 over retail for it. Good luck I feel your pain. I just got my back together and running Monday of this week.
