I purchased a decorative front plate today. Went to remove the dealer front plate that came on the truck and realize somethings not right or missing. I cant fit the new decorative plate on. The current dealer plate is 12x5 and the new one is 12x6. Im attaching a pic of what is currently have mounted on the front from the dealer and a pic that I downloaded from another forum post to show what Im wanting. What do I need to purchase to achieve whats in the 2nd pic?

You need the front plate bracket. Something your dealer was clever enough to get out of paying $12 for.

I assume you bought this used. It looks like the center lower grille cover is missing. You'll need that to make it work, but if your state doesn't require a front plate, I'd personally get an aftermarket lower grille kit and not run any kind of front plate.

 

On an '18-'20, the bumper filler is made up of 3 separate pieces...

On a '15-'17, it's all one piece, so whoever modified this cut the whole center piece and left only the two plastic rectangles. You're not supposed to see the messy flange of the bumper opening, it's supposed to be covered up with plastic trim.
