Default 2016 Front Camera Rock Chip Replacement

Hey Y'all!!

I've got a 2016 King Ranch F150 and I picked up a rock chip in my front camera.

I don't mind buying the replacement camera, but I'm wondering if it is a direct plug and play, or will i need to program anything??

Anyone done a swap??

If this has already been addressed, feel free to post the link to the thread....I did a bit of searching and came up dry,, but sometimes my forum searches aren't all that great.

Thanks!!

If it is like previous year models, the rear cameras when replaced needed to be programmed. Fortunately it can be done with Forscan.

Yes, it needs to be initialized. As said, it can be done with FORScan. From the Workshop Manual:

Using a diagnostic scan tool, following the on screen instructions for the LIN New Module
Initialization-IPMB configure the IPMB.
