I had a 2015 Denali, and my 502a Lariat is much better equipped. I debated spending the 7000 $ msrp on the 502a, but I'm glad I did. LEDs, auto high beams, auto wipers, power tilt and tele with easy exit, what else? All great. No complaints.

I eliminated my fake engine noise and souped-up the stereo a lot, so it rocks.

Tons of power. 15.8 city and around 18 on the road, driving normally, although I do drive in Sport mode.

My sunroof doesn't leak, my seats cool, and my leather looks fine w 12000 miles.

Can you comment on how well the 4x4 Auto mode works, particularly on snow and ice if you happen to live in that sort of climate!

4A works great on changing road conditions! Here in South Dakota and Minnesota our winter was constantly changing and the 4A worked flawlessly for me. Always felt like had perfect traction.

Could you give details on what makes their 4A mode a bust. Does it not have the same transfer case and functionality of the Expedition?

The 4A option is what is pushing me to the Lariat over the much cheaper XLT so I'm trying to get as many perspectives on it as possible.

I just traded my 2014 Silverado LT for a 2016 XLT with 302a. I'm only 5'6" 150lbs and my Silvy seat broke too. I traded it because of the SEVERE vibration they could not/would not fix.

I absolutely love my optioned up XLT, but if I wasn't such a tight ***, I would have gotten the Lariat...they are NICE!

I got the XLT with the 302A package and I really like it. My wife has a 2014 Taurus limited and I do like the push button start and the memory seats but that is about all I wish I had on my truck. I have always been an XLT buyer and this truck is by far the nicest one I have owned. I like the heated cloth seats and I don't think the cooling feature is that big of a deal unless you have leather, it is nice to cool them off but the cloth does not get hot like the leather does so it is wash. The 302A comes with the 10 way power adjustable seats which I consider a must. Best of luck on your decision.
