2016 F150 A/C problem
I have seen a few threads about A/C issues but I'm not sure if others are having the same issues or if those issues were resolved. Starting this past saturday, my A/C only blows out room temperature air. The heating still works fine, but the A/C is no longer cold. I just pulled the A/C clutch fuse, and now when the A/C kicks on there is a weird noise from inside the dash that sounds like rubber rubbing against a hard surface. (It's similar to when your windshield wipers rub against the glass with no water on the windshield.)
Unfortunately, the A/C is still just blowing out room temperature air. I purchased the truck in August as a certified pre-owned so it still has a 12 month 12,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty, but if this is a simple fix I'd rather do it myself.
Any thoughts on what the issue might be?
EDIT: I should mention that I went outside the truck when I tried to run Max A/C today and it doesn't sound like the engine fan is running like it normally would when using the air conditioning.
