nice! Trying to judge by the stripe, XLT with BLIS? If so did you have to order that combo? I have only seen one dealer in TX that ordered XLT's for stock with BLIS. Most I have talked to don't know it's even an option..

the LED heads on the Lariat are very nice, and upgraded headlights are on the wish list for the next truck, but the leather in my 2012 SE has not faired well despite meticulous care which has me considering the XLT trim. My wife's xterra with 115K has cloth seats and they have held up great.

How do you like the SE cloth thus far? My only concern is if the red inserts will stain over time, I could not tell if they where suede or colored cloth.

i hear ya on the leather. The SE cloth quality surprised me actually. Held up to my dogs paws, Michigan salt and grime. (So far). Only 17k miles on it but it's held up nicely. The black and red stitching is definitely unique. It's colored cloth.

Haven't been here in a while thought I'd give an update on my SE. Almost 20k and still loving it. Had a couple times when the back up sensor was false alarming on a cold morning but stopped and never happened again. Decals seem to dull after waxing. Oh and get any wax/coating on plastic and forget it. Other than that I am still in love. The downfall is now that I have a screw anytime there is more than two of us I get stuck driving because I have the most comfortable ride...

Yes it has been a while since this thread has come up. I have just over 8K miles on my Ruby Red SE with no problems other then the dead radio issue. That happened at about 500 miles and has not happened since.

I am amazed at the number of compliments I get on the Ruby Red paint job. After all it is just one of many Ford F-150 trucks but still people notice the paint and tell me how much they like it. I have only done one modification to the truck simply because I like the look. I added the Raptor Light Kit made specifically for the Lariet SE made by Custom Auto Works. It was easy to install and I think it looks like it came from the factory.

in the past I have only had Chevy and Dodge truck. This is my first Ford truck. It was not a mistake! To me, this truck is light years ahead of the competition. It is a pleasure to drive. Looks like Ford has won me over.

The one thing that bothers me is I still don't had the Sync 3 update that gives me Apple Car Play. When I took delivery of the truck I was assured that my truck would get the update soon. I'm still waiting for that official update. I know people here are doing that update themselves rather than wait. I really didn't want to do that but I guess I might have to go that route. I already bought and installed the new Hub that is required for the update, just need the software now.
