so I broke my side window, I thought it would of shattered like the old windows but they don't shatter. I made a video incase anyone else has to do there window as well..one word of advice is be careful with the door latch cable, I had everything back together and the door panel slip and I dropped it, trying to film and do things with one hand. and it broke. I crazy glued it and was able to put it back together and it is working but I think its broken again lol. anyway heres the

 

The front windows on the new f150's are laminated like a windshield.

 

yeah I was shocked. Usually they explode into a million pieces

 

One more contributor to the super quiet ride.

Glass isn't tempered because the plastic will hold it together and prevent large jagged pieces from being thrown about.

 

just a heads up to those out there that are doing this, you can get a cheap set of trim removal tools that are plastic/nylon for less than 10 bux that wont mar the trim pieces up from places like harbor freight or even home depot.
