Default 2016 console swap

I am thinking of buying a 2016 xlt f150, the only down side is that it has the jump seat instead of the center console. Ik that you can swap in the console just fine but is there a way to have the rear vents function or would I have to make major modifications

Cut a hole in the ducting in the dash where it hooks together.

Thinking it’s going to be a tedious job, but doable as long as you get the right parts.

It was pretty simple on my 15. Looking at the picture posted by RRECOBEAST, part 18C420C attaches to the heater box. the openings are molded into the heater box and all you have to do is use a dremel tool to open them up. Simple job that just takes a few minutes. Just make sure you get 18C420C and 18C420B from your donor vehicle. 19D633 should be attached to the console.
