Default 2016 5.0 whining when accelerating

Hello guys! I'm new to the forum and have been lurking around reading all the post the last few months. I used the search function and didn't find anything related to this so please pardon me if it is out there somewhere

I have a 2016 platinum 4x4 5.0 and have a whining noise that is driving me NUTS. It is really only noticeable when I am coasting and then lightly hit the accelerator. My best way to describe the noise is a slight whine/hum. Has anyone else experienced this issue ??

thanks for all the input
-Kevin

I have the same truck. I don't have any noise in 2wd. 4wd does produce a different sound, more whirring.

Just to rule out bad hubs,, Find a straight section of road and put it in 4H to see if noise changes.

Torque converter, had mine replaced on my 2012. It was defective from the factory but never really heard it until spring when I had the windows down. Easy fix, replaced it and done in one day.
