Hi,
I have been using my trailer since I got the truck. Everything worked fine. Now when I plug it in nothing happens. No brakes. No lights. Does not display trailer connected on the DIC. I imagine it must be a fuse. Can someone tell me which fuse is responsible for this problem? From reading the manual I can't seem to find one that fits that description.

I would check anything with Trailer listed in the "protected components" column. So 34, 35, 36, 79, 87...Just process of elimination really. I've also noticed sometimes the fuses are not seated all the way from the factory or one of them is leaning one way or another.

 

Are you sure it isn't the trailer itself?

 

I had the same problem when I first plugged in my boat trailer. I discovered that the factory connector under the bed that plugs into the trailer light receptacle wasn't completely plugged it.

Yes. Trailer works fine with other vehicles. It also worked fine for the last 18months until now.
