I installed a sync3 in my 2015 f150 platinum. It has the nav built in but I cant get it to show up on my screen. I have forscan and can program my apim. I have added the internal antenna. I must not have something right in the apim. Is there someone who can look at a screenshot of my settings and tell where I messed up? Everything else seems to work fine.

I have applied all the changes from Domo Dans aipm values and for me it still says navigation fault. Could be the antenna?

 

you cant go and program someone elses code in your rig, its is customized to your VIN. Can do post what troubleshooting you've done, and what changes you have made? What does the screen show? Do your voice commands work? Are you sure your APIM has navigation? Do you have the correct SD card?

 

I have changed my 8' sync2 to sync3 I reprogrammed my APIM to what Domo Dan had listed in his thread.I did put another gps antenna in the sync3 when I installed it. So now it has the factory one I guess used by the instrument cluster for the compass and the new one going to the APIM. The APIM shows the navigation symbol and is supposed to have nav. It was a pull out from a 2017 ford car focus I think.Everything is working as far as I can tell except navigation shows a fault on the sync screen. I do have several DTC's probably due to the stuff I entered in the APIM. What kind of troubleshooting do I need to do? there is no sd card with sync 3
