I have done the sync 2 to sync 3 upgrade on my truck, and now have an hd radio acm, and sync 3. Is it safe to turn on auto update and connect to wifi to update the software? Will my sync 3 still update correctly? If not, how will I update the software when new versions are released?

 

No, your truck is Sync2 from the factory and stays that way. To upgrade you will have to watch the threads that talk about the upgrade and download the files when people post the link. I have an update for the original Sync system my truck had originally even though I have Sync 3 now. Obviously I will not download it.
