Have been trying to update my Sync 2 for 3 days so I can update Maps. Have tried downloading on multiple computers, used multiple USB drives, called Ford multiple times. Continue to get LST_ERR04 within about 30 seconds of inserting the USB drive. Vehicle was built in Canada but Ford says the software in all US.

 

What does the USB have to do with updating maps? My 2015 uses a SIM card for maps that you have to buy. I’m on version 13 now I believe. I buy a new card every couple of years.

 

No, I can't even get to try to update the Maps without updating the Sync 2. Thanks.

 

Can you post a screenshot of your USB drive layout with the update install files?
