Default 2015 Sport mode?

Does anyone recall reading about the 2015 coming with a sport mode option for the transmission? It seems that a single tap on the gear selector will put it in tow mode and a double tap will activate something of a sport mode....

at 2 minutes and 59 seconds of the video below.

Just wondering, don't remember reading that one

That is a nice observation. I have not read about that either. Mabey it's the same version of the raptors "off road" mode.

Great find! I had to look twice even knowing where it was.

This looks like another 2015 Ford "mystery of life".

Does it maybe have anything to do with the P-M-2-1 tranny selector on the Ford site. I think the M is for Manual?

Nice find, looks as though we get a new shift profile "sport" along with tow/haul. Will have to see if i can find it on the pics of the models with the center console as well

The other thing I am noticing from the interior pictures are the redlines on the tachometer. Looks like in this video the 2.7L will crank out to 6250RPM to the 3.5L maintaining the current 5750RPM and the 5.0L maintaining its current 6000RPM. Minor enough I know but that would lead me to believe we wont be seeing much of a horsepower increase on the 5.0L (as the Mustang GT gets peak hp at 6500rpm) and there probably aren't any revolutionary changes coming down the pipe for the 3.5L either.

Obviously a shot in the dark but either way I don't see Ford sacrificing any bottom end to add to the top and then not let either engine run itself out at the top to make use of more horsepower.

Time will tell.
