Guys, he asked a question. Seriously.
Ford usually does a full make over every 5 model years. 2004-2008 / 2009-2014 / and so on.
Now they will most certainly change things up like power train and features. They've really showed this with the "current" model. Look at the differences between the 09s to the 14s.
I'd expect a few minor visual tweaks for sure, maybe some power train changes (new 6.2... maybe just wishful thinking).
If you want a completely looking F150 you will most likely have to wait until 2020.

We don't even have specs yet and only know like 50% of the truck lol.
But if you seek a real answer I say 2-3 years.
For the most part he's right, minor aesthetics, for 13 they added the HID's and tow mirrors, some new packages etc.
but I don't think they'll being doing any new engines and the 6.2 is gone it's getting really old hearing people how much they miss it already, was fine for the fist couple days but it's gone let it go. I'm not sure I've seen them release a new engine in a refreshment. Especially since they just revealed a new engine.
Refreshments usually consist of parts that are interchangeable without serious modification. Like I said new mirrors, new lights, all easy things for Ford to do. Expect nothing major. Look at the 12's vs 13's.
