2015 - Present Model Year, Ford F-150 TSB/ Recall Listing
#311
I just received a recall notice this week on my 17 F150 Scab. Notice said full parts weren’t available yet and I shouldn’t try to schedule with the dealer unless I have an actual frozen lock/latch event. Otherwise I would be contacted in a few months when parts became available.

About time...
So, it’s a bolt and a nut that’s a simple fix, Would you mind posting a pic for ones that are waiting please? Again a glad you got it done

The second letter from Ford indicating we can have the seatbelt buckle recall addressed may be coming soon. I noticed on owner.ford.com that the recall status on my truck has changed from status 12 to 11 and the “remedy not yet available” note has been removed.

2015+ Frozen/inoperative Door Locks
Please note that a new sticky has been created on this topic with a new poll related to owner experiences with this..... while we all await Ford to make parts and procedures available to Dealers for their Recall.
Please note any lock-related issues into that sticky thread rather than here....and take the new poll.
Thanks, AZPLAT

I got a letter from Ford today stating "Parts are now available to repair your vechicle and to take it to the dealer to inspect and, if necessary, repair the left hand rear seatbelt buckle free of charge (parts and labor)".

Good. I will be on the lookout for it. I've not allowed anyone to sit in the affected seat until I have this recall addressed.

There was a post about the seatbelt recall on another forum. My truck had to have the recall done before I could pick it up. The parts were available November 12th and they got the part in two days. It just a bolt and nut. They drill out the rivet and replace with the bold and nut. Most dealers should already have the nut ( it's used other places).
