If its normal they probably tell everyone that buys one. Water dripping into the vehicle is normal don't be worried or maybe go with one without moonroof. I was also told my the Service Director that I should not listen to people on Ford Forum and don't believe what you hear on the internet. I wish I wasn't having to live this Nightmare Ford Truck experience. Sorry for the rant

Ford is always going to tell you "this is the first time we have seen this!" they have too! Also their use of the term "this is normal" applies to other things also, they use it when they cant fix something or don't want to. Ford has binding arbitration in Texas, use it if you have too. As long as the truck is under original 3/36 BB.

My 13 AC will only produce 44 degree cold air, 10-12 degrees higher than design, Ford says its normal! Can you imagine what happens here in Houston during the summer?

Don't let them off the hook! Time for everyone to start holding Ford responsible!

Brad. Dont let tell you its normal. Theres nothing normal about it. Those tracks are put in place just in case water gets in. That doesnt mean its supposed to get in. Fight it and like I said keep a log of all the time spent dealing with this BS.

Brad so Fords Services Director told you not to listen or believe what you read on this forum? That's good Ford Service Liasons are on this forum and I believe someone from Ford Corporate management commented on the cooling/heating seats topic. And then there's this...

Many of of have had numerous vehicles made by different manufacturers and they do not leak water into the vehicle, if they do, common sense tells you it's not right, a problem and or defective design! Cheap ineffective designs save manufacturers money but cost the consumer!

If a manufacturers doesn't own up to an obvious problem or defect, and attempts to confuse the owner with BS instead of stating yes we have a problem and dealing with it, that's really sad!

I really wish someone from Ford would contact me, the regional person Brandon doesn't seem to helpful. I requested the extended warranty that was offered be for 100k miles and include water damage and the wet seal. He last told me this was normal and is requesting me have people with not normal trucks (meaning they don't leak) come in to prove it to him. I asked if this is normal why wasn't I told not to be alarmed to see water entering the vehicle. His response was does micro soft tell you to when they sell you a computer you might have problems. I was in shock! First off they do, they recommend you buy anti virus software and are constantly providing updates and patches. Second, I don't own any Microsoft products, only Apple due to they don't get viruses, but they do provide update to improve the product and fix issues that are not right. I noticed many people being contacted by Ford to help, I have not been contacted by anyone. I can only imagine if the millions of people that have these windows knew they were leaking they would have a problem. Still not able to get the owner of the dealerships contact info. Maybe its time to start hitting social media and contacts at the news. Ive been offered a buy back for my vehicle but they sold my trade in. So I would loose out on the tax break (only reason I didn't sell the paid for car) and the bed liner I put in during the 5 days I posed the vehicle. Please someone from Ford help me!!!

I may be mistaken, but after your 3yr/36k warranty is done, your Ford extended warranty will not cover a leaky moonroofs or the damage it causes! That's why you won't see a recall, their exposure is very limited. Now the owner that keeps for several years, well, can't say the same for them.

I like the part that states it will not keep pressurized water completly out but it is designed to keep rain out. My truck was leaking in a very mild rain.

Just to update my truck is still at the dealership waiting for the sunroof arrival.

I just got a 2016 f150 with the panoramic moonroof. Build date is 12/15 and it is leaking also. It is leaking in the seam where both the windows meet. Does not look like they fixed this issue for next years models like I was hoping. Will be taking this back to the dealer and try to get one without a moonroof!
