Have they gotten the correct specs for what your roof opening should be +- for size? I'm starting to think some of these trucks the hole in the roof is oversized or out of wack so no matter what they do with the panels they will leak..

I like the out of whack part, though you could be describing quite a few things on these trucks!

Up next, Moonroof's that can't get wet (exaggeration) but that could be coming out in the next TSB?

It may be the " flexing " of some trucks more than others, as it would be hard to keep a tight seal on a flexing roof and cab.

No water in the headliner but the water in the drains is causing heavy condensation and has ruined my panel shade already. Started making a grinding noise when rolling it back, dealer replaced, good as new, but only a matter of time before its ruiend again due to moisture.

I've been meaning to report... my '16 Lariat has ZERO issues. Its white-- so been through the Rainforest car wash 3x already and ZERO water. I had my fingers up in the rails and feel nothing. Hoping that this is a problem that has been resolved??

2015 Ford F150 Lariat sport with 502 package, Magnetic, Twin Moonroof, 20 inch rims, extended 36 gallon tank.

NIGHTMARE!!!!!

After researching and looking since August I finally found the truck I wanted for the price I wanted on Saturday December 19th. (Never imagined leaking issues with moonroof) I wasn't able to take the truck home because the back sliding window was broken and track was not connected to the truck. We determined best to leave at the dealership to have it repaired. I finally pick my truck up on Wednesday December 23rd (told not to open window for 2 days). I loved my truck and the twin moonroof, kept the shade open at all times. Sunday morning December 27th it was raining lightly and I noticed water dripping in the moonroof on the passenger side between the panels. (We was shocked). We took video and drove home. I came home and found this Forum and boy did I get scared. I went out that night to get dinner and it was really coming down. It was now pouring down the same spot, left side had no water dripping at all. I called the dealer ship first thing in the morning, I was told by the rep this may be normal but to bring it in.

After reading all the pages of this forum, it seems some have issues and some don't, some have more problems after Ford trys to fix it and seeing the Ford responds that its normal, also that this has been a problem all of 2015.

Monday December 28th I take my truck in and honestly I was very sad and bummed. The Rep tells me he thinks its normal but they want to have it checked. I expressed my concerns this truck having less that 300 miles and leaking with light rain. I am then given a Ford Fiesta as a loaner. (Im 6"3 and almost knocked myself out 5 times getting in and out of the very small car)

I receive a call from Ford Service Rep on Wednesday December 30th. They found nothing wrong and my car was ready to pick up. Ford Engineers said this was normal and they tested another new truck and it was leaking as well.

I go to the Dealership on New Years Eve December 31st
(I have 2 friends with the same truck and they don't leak in a car wash and they are willing to drive to the dealership and show them theirs trucks don't leak)
I talk to the Service manger and he has not had any trucks brought in with this issue. I ask him if we can take it through the car wash to see how bad it leaks, car was is broke and we are unable to do this but he says he will call the Ford Engineers and speak to them again. I speak with Sales manager and express my un happiness, told him it may be best to get my non leaking 2012 Honda accord and give back the trucks. He said it had just processed and I would need to talk to his boss for that to happen. He comes back with Service manager and he wants to take care of me. He has a pressure washer out back and takes me and my 4 year old son to see what happens. When he sprays its pouring down both driver and passenger more than I expected. I also noticed light coming in the passenger side that I initially noticed the leaking. The manager sees it to and says that not right, we will take care of that. He takes back the fiesta and gives me a 2014 XLT, not my truck but better than the fiesta. He said no need for my friends to bring up their trucks, I was also told unless they do a warranty repair it would not be documented.

Wednesday January 6th I receive a call from Service manager. Ford Engineers give him word for word probably same doc that's in the forum. Normal, Wet seals, nothing they can do. They have him test 6 trucks on lot with moon roofs, they all leak and have light coming through the seals. He told me still wants to talk to them, he doesn't think this is right. I ask him if the 2016's leak and he tells me there are non on the lot. Today is January 13th haven't received a call since last week. This has been the worst car buying experience I have ever had. Im very unhappy and don't know if this is going to get resolved. I put a huge down payment, paid cash for an extended warranty, bought a spray in bed liner, $200 floor mats, supposed to get my windows tinted the day I took it back in, my first payment is about to be due and I don't have my truck. Please give me some advise, Please someone help. I don't know what to do at this point, this definitely put a damper on my holidays/New Truck experience/New Year. My truck has been at dealership 22 days, I had it 5.

1. This is why you don't buy moonroofs I've owned 3 vehicles with moonroofs and every single one of them leaked.

2. This is why you don't by new model vehicles that have just been released. Let other people suffer through the handful of new problems, let ford fix them and get things right, and buy a 2017 or 2018 and save all the heartache

Some people just have too much money and not enough patience

Best of luck too all of yall having issues ^^
