2015 just left me stranded, POS

Fully retired now!
>No Points?
Ah, gee! After all the brain power I spent trying to figure it out. I don't have that much more I can afford to spare. Maybe I'll try the Redneck Retirement Plan instead. It's getting up there again!

I wouldn't call someone a drama queen when their brand new truck leaves them stranded. If my truck did this, itd be the last straw and the wife would serve me divorce papers. Im already taken flak for 5 visits to the dealer in just over 3 weeks. She's convinced i threw 55 grand in the trashcan. In all my years I've seen some ****, and new cars can have problems too. I still feel bent over and unlubed after a month of issues following my purchase. Fix it Ford, fix it!!!

I would never buy a first model year of a new redesign, although I almost did. I test drove a '15 Canyon. It was a black, 4WD SLT crew cab with coca/dune leather interior. It had 444 miles. I got in the truck with the salesman, made a right onto the main drag. Went four blocks and put on the brakes for a stoplight, felt a little forward jerk. Light turned green, I stepped on the gas....nothing. Salesman said "let's go". I tried the gas again, nothing. I gave it gas, top speed was 10 mph. The transmission went out. But I still wanted one though. While I was searching EVERY dealer website within a 300 mile radius from my home in central Washington state, from Tacoma to Idaho. My wife suggested that I check out the new Sierra, since my current truck was an '05 Sierra. But I didn't want a full size truck again, or so I thought. She shoped online had went to talk to salesman. I went after work to talk to guy and fell in love. I sat in double cabs, crew cabs, cloth interior, leather interior. Went home to think about all the choices. Went down next day & bought a double cab SLT Z-71, it didn't have a spray in bedliner, so they thru one in at no cost.

Oh maan, I love it when someone with a ton of money pays 65k for a truck then expects for it to never break down, especially during break in time. We're you towing? Look, anything with moving parts is bound to go out sooner or later. Urs just happened to happen sooner. I had my 2011 Eb f150 in the shop non stop. Called it every name in the book, got a few gray hairs over it, took over 20 trips to dealer to get it right and even then it wasn't. Then the 2015 came out and I traded in. Problem solved.

Broke down..POS
People break down too! For whatever reason, everything eventually will break down. Like if one has a employee, its better to train them. Not complain about their work, train them or let them go. Truck same thing, fix it or get another truck. People close to you that you like, one has to take them as they are. Here's the thing, a lot of people here add to their trucks.
So there is a history, all be it nuts and bolts, something happens. Its a thing, a truck thing. Since you never had a bond, or truck thing, its easy to put your truck down. I think you'll find a truck that won't let you down. You started a good conversation, truck talk. You deserve better, Ford should make it right. Good Luck!
