2015 HP & TQ for New Engines (Numbers Inside)

Did mpt want to show lower standard numbers to show a greater gain? Yes they would. Most stock Dyno numbers for the 5.0 are 305-310 that I see. Did MPT Dyno the ecoboost on the same day on the same dyno with the same parameters set? If not they are not even close to being compatible.
Take this for example, my truck made 540rwhp on the Dyno but it is only 0.06 faster than their truck that made well over 100 more rwhp with a lighter truck (he is 2wd. Vs my 4wd) and a considerably faster 60' time (they had a 1.65 to my 1.77 Because he runs traction bars and slicks). Not only that but their trap speed was lower (their 114mph vs my 116mph) this would indicate that my truck is actually putting down more power than theirs.
So tell me again your personal experience how Dyno numbers don't lie?

As much as I'd love to see Ford up the numbers on the 5.0 I just don't see it happening.
And here's why...Ford's "premium" engine, not to mention it's their most advertised motor probably ever, is obviously the Ecoboost. For some reason they decided to keep the numbers the same for the 2015s. I just don't understand how Ford could market the EB anymore, not to mention charge a premium (I paid 1750 in 2012). I paid the extra for the 5hp and ~30tq.
If Ford gives the 5.0 roughly 35 more HP than the EB and brings the TQ closer or the same too I just don't see how the EB would stay the "premium" engine.
I honestly don't think Ford will mess with the status quo. Maybe 2016 or 17 we'll see a rise in the numbers but I think this year the 5.0 and the 3.5EB are taking a back seat to brand spanking new (and impressive if you ask me) 2.7 EB.
Now you can call me out if I'm wrong when the numbers are released but I'm pretty certain the 5.0 will be the same as 2014.

For the record, I'm not saying the 5.0 will have more power than the 3.5 eco.

Well every dyno from all the tuners besides 5 stars fudged numbers are higher then the 5.0 and I've raced three of my buddies now and if they have more power they would of beat me! But that's besides the point I'll sit back and let this thread continue but I refuse to let lies go on here

Can you elaborate on the intake? This is the first I've heard of that and I'd be interested to hear what's in store...

Fwiw, my brother has an eco and it's a driver's race when we were both stock and I won more times than not. The problem was I was the better driver, not that he didn't make more power.
If you want to argue something I want to hear your experiences on how Dyno numbers don't lie, I'll sit back and pop some popcorn now.
"Up top is a new intake manifold. While quite similar in design, runner length, and height to the S197 Coyote intake, the new manifold bristles with Charge Motion Control Valves and their actuators. These valves introduce tumble and swirl into the airflow at part throttle, maximizing combustion efficiency."
No guarantee that the f150 will get the same intake though.

No....you'll buy what Ford WANTS you to buy. Turboed V6s. And you'll lap it up like the good lemming your are. And you'll love it. Cause Fords says so.
