I do that sometimes now but I believe you can only change the setting when you exit the vehicle.... Which eliminates that annoyance

Ordered mine today from Levittown Ford with the LED - Anybody install the LED if so care to share installation tips?

What is the function of the led? Can't you just tape it to the harness?

It's suppose to go up on the dash as a visual cue about the alarms status...for you information and as a deterent.

Ok now I get it and BTW I think I just ordered an OEM remote start (lock, unlock, lock) on ebay that has the same LED setup. If I find a place for it I will reply here, if not i will just tape it up.
