2015 Anzo Headlights

I just had to replace my right side low beam XHP50 because it went out after only a year which sucks but 4x4truckleds sent a new one out for free thankfully. Now I may have to replace the other side because there is a slight color difference. Not sure if after awhile they lights fade to a more yellow color than bright white but its very noticeable. I see some of you are putting the XPH70's in the lows now are they brighter? If so I may go that route and replace both lows.

For this reason I went with Putco SilverLux Pro's (Cree XHP70s) in my Anzo's. So far no issues but its only been 8 months or so.

Yeah I have the relocation kit and when I pulled out the old bulb one of the leds fell off. It is a really big pain so I don't want this to be a regular thing. If the XHP70s will be better I might the bullet but I'm also up for something different. Already pissed I have to take the housing out again after I just replaced the bulb and focus it. Stupid me knocked it out fast and forgot

Bump for this ?Not sure if it can be done without some wiring though, if someone more experienced could chime in?

I am finally getting around to posting about my install. The G9's are a tight fit... I spread out the cooling fins as much as I could. 4x4truckled's confirmed that I could leave the driver in the housing rather than getting the relocation kit.
Be careful when removing the fender flare, body trim piece, and that black piece with the 8 screws in it. The fender flare tabs and clips are very brittle and one of mine broke. Luckily the screws that are in the fender held the lower part of the flare to the truck. That black piece has a clip towards the back that needs to be released before you can remove it. If you cant reach the clip from the back, you can take a pair of needle nose pliers and release it from the front. After you remove the lights, plug up the new lights to make sure all polarity is correct and everything works as planned.
After all was tested and installed, I was thrilled with the look of the truck. I went ahead and adjusted the headlights as well as fogs. I went for a drive and took some pictures of the output. I felt like the low beams were slightly lower than I wanted, so I turned them back up two full turns of the adjustment screw. That raised them roughly 3 inches over the tape line. I have not been flashed on the road yet, so I am hoping that is a good sign. The photos below will show the output of low and highs for the G9. The high beam picture turned out much brighter than the low (I think due to my phone), but trust me, the highs definitely put some light out there. I will let you know if I have any trouble in the next few months with these lights.

right side is the new XHP50 after the last went out and the left is the 1 year old XHP50.
Is this going to happen once a year with these LEDs? We all know it isn't the easiest to pop new bulbs in and out after they fade or go out. Great customer service but I don't feel like having to deal with this

So just installed my ANZOs with the XHP70 LEDs. Question, how do you rotate the LED bulbs after installation? The instructions for LED placement was very unclear. It seems like a pain to have to remove the housing just to rotate the bulb. Or does it even matter how the bulb is placed in the housing being that it is a projection headlight? Also, I got the relocation kit and the anti flicker, it just seems odd that there is this huge wad of wiring and ballasts hanging behind the housing. Another thing, I got the switch back option and wired it up with the locks that came with the ANZOs. Those didn't work and didn't move forward with the switch back option because I didn't want to mess up any of the wiring in the harness.
