That screw is on there for a reason... I wouldn't unscrew that just to make it fit. I'd either buy a bulb that fits or take a file and enlarge the whole slightly for the aftermarket bulb.

My bulbs had a tip on them that made them too deep to fit in the projector housing. I had to modify it to fit. Diameter wise I had to finagle them the right way to get them in but eventually I did without modification to the opening.

These Hikari's off Amazon:
If I remember correctly, the Anzo's were H7's? I have used this brand on several trucks and had zero concerns with them. I did modify the housing to get the Ballast outside of the Housing.

Got my Anzos in the mail today along with some Lumen LED bulbs from CARiD. Do you guys think I'm OK installing the bulbs with the drivers inside of the housing (if they even fit) or should I just wait for the 83mm boots I have coming tomorrow from 4x4truckleds.com? Of course I'll modify the boots to run the drivers on the outside but... Look, I'm excited.

I can attest to the fact that putting the driver in the housing will eventually cook your led's. Don't do it.
Grab a fifth of Jack Daniels and drink yourself silly. Sober up and the boots will have arrived.
